Whether liquids, solids, or gaseous media, Schniewindt's CSN® screw-in heaters are the optimal solution for direct heating and thermal management. These high-quality screw-in heaters are robustly constructed, versatile in application, and suitable even for hazardous environments.
The CSN® screw-in heaters from Schniewindt are designed to heat solids, liquids or even gaseous substances directly. The robustly constructed screw-in heaters guarantee a long service life when used appropriately. The electric heating elements also require little maintenance. The soldered or welded screw fittings in sizes ¾" to 2½" are compatible with almost all containers, tanks and pipework.
Schniewindt's screw-in heaters are made from high-quality and durable stainless steels, depending on the application. Thanks to rotatable cable glands, various design variants and tubular heater diameters (8.5 millimetres [mm], 11.5 mm and 16 mm), they can be optimally adapted to specific process requirements. Special versions with integrated regulators and/or limiters enable precise temperature monitoring and adjustment. They cover the various temperature ranges, from 0 to 500 degrees Celsius (°C).
CSN® screw-in heaters can be used in numerous industries: In plant and mechanical engineering, for example, they are used to heat hydraulic systems, while in the cleaning industry they can be found in industrial cleaning and washing systems. The power classes range from 50 to 15,000 watts (W), with voltages of 12 to 750 volts (V) possible. Schniewindt's screw-in heaters are also used as practical storage heaters in electrical versions in containers with widely varying fill levels.
