Our CSN® cartridge heaters are used when direct heating with tubular heaters is not possible or a simple replacement without emptying the tank is required.
Cartridge heaters are used where direct heating with tubular heating elements is not possible or where it is advantageous that the electric heating elements can be replaced without having to empty the tank first. They act as heat exchangers with a ceramic or tubular heating element heating insert. These in turn heat the cartridge tube, which transfers the heat directly to the medium. Due to their low surface load, they are particularly suitable for heating low-viscosity oil, hydraulic oil and heat transfer oil up to max. 80°C.
