Industrial flow heaters are indispensable components of modern industrial plants. As a leading manufacturer of electrical heating technology, Schniewindt develops and produces high-quality flow heaters for various process engineering applications.
The CSN® industrial flow heaters from Schniewindt impress with their high operational safety and reliability. Thanks to certification in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and optional approvals in accordance with ATEX ("atmosphères explosibles" - EU Explosion Protection Directive) and IECEx (International Electrotechnical Commission Explosive), they fulfil the highest safety standards. Further international certifications such as Peso (Petroleum & Explosive Safety Organisation), CCC (China Compulsory Certificate) and EAC (Eurasian Conformity) underline their global usability.
The electric flow heaters have a modular design: Their high-quality components include tubular and screw-in heating elements as well as matching flow pipes. All components are optimally matched to each other. This works because the experts at Schniewindt always take the medium, the flow speed and the process pressure into account. This makes it possible to achieve consistently outstanding efficiency. What's more, the optimised control technology ensures precise temperature control. Depending on the requirements, outputs from a few watts to the megawatt range can be easily realised.
The different versions of Schniewindt industrial flow heaters make them suitable for a variety of industrial applications: The type 97/AS model copes particularly well with low volume flows and temperatures up to 100 degrees Celsius (°C). The VS version impresses with its robust stainless steel design and is also suitable for aggressive media.
In the chemical and petrochemical industries, the flow heaters are used to heat process media. The flow heater type 97/D heats liquids and gases particularly quickly and precisely. Plant and mechanical engineering utilise the electric heat exchangers for various applications. The power-to-heat systems also prove their worth in heating and air conditioning technology, process engineering and shipbuilding thanks to these product properties.
