The CSN® flange heaters impress with their robust and reliable design with integrated temperature monitoring. They can consist of various heating elements assembled in a protective tube - for example, tubular heaters, cartridge heaters and high-performance cartridge heaters. We offer various types of flanged heaters, five of which are designed for use in potentially explosive environments.
The electric flange heaters enable direct and efficient heating of various liquids and gaseous media while minimising maintenance costs. They demonstrate their positive properties particularly in demanding environments. If CSN® tubular heaters are among the selected components, pipe diameters between 8.5 and 16 millimetres (mm) enable optimum heat transfer. Schniewindt uses only high-alloy stainless steels in the manufacture of its electric flange heaters, which guarantee a long service life.
In the chemical and petrochemical industries, CSN® flanged heaters are used to heat process media. They help to support chemical reactions by creating uniform and stable temperature environments. The robust heating elements are ideal for water, oil and other liquids as well as gaseous media.
